How do you reach small business owners?
By email, from lists built from the kinds of businesses you already serve. Business owners who don’t live on LinkedIn still read their email, if it is about a problem they have and it comes from a real person.
How do you reach small business owners?
We pull law firms, accounting firms, dental clinics and whatever else is in your ICP from local business listings in your service area, filter them by size and check each one by hand. Then we write to the owner or decision-maker directly, by name, from dedicated inboxes on separate sending domains. You agree on the verticals and the area with us before launch.
Why email and not LinkedIn or phone?
Because the owner of a 40-person law firm or a 3-location dental practice is rarely on LinkedIn and doesn’t take cold calls, but does read email about downtime, backups and cyber insurance. Email also scales to a whole service area without a team of callers, and it leaves a written thread we can qualify from. If a prospect prefers a call, we take the call.
Why not info@?
Because a generic inbox is read by whoever is on reception that day, and the message never reaches the person who signs an IT contract. For every company on the list we find the actual decision-maker and their direct address. It is slower, and it is the reason the replies come from the right person.
Where do the lists come from?
Local business listings by category, for your service area, not a bought “SMB database.” The full method is on the ICP and target lists page, and the guide to getting MSP clients without referrals explains why it works.
