Cold email messaging for MSPs: what we write and how you approve it
The managing partner of a law firm doesn’t answer “quick question” emails about IT services, and business owners don’t buy “digital transformation.” They want fewer outages, a clean answer for the cyber insurance form and someone who picks up the phone. We write to that, and you sign off on every word before it goes out.
What angle does the cold email take?
Most small businesses already have “a guy”: a part-time IT contractor, a break-fix shop, a nephew who is good with computers. Your competition is not another MSP, it is the status quo. So we write against the status quo, in the owner’s own terms: what happens when the server goes down on a Friday, who answers the cyber insurance questionnaire, whether the backups have ever been tested, who they call when something breaks and the guy is on vacation.
No IT jargon, no feature lists, no “we are a leading provider of managed services.” Short emails, one point each, written to a specific kind of business owner.
How are the sequences written and approved?
Levante Leads writes them from what your best clients told you when they signed: the problem you solved, what they had before you and why they switched. Each vertical in your ICP gets its own sequence, with a first email, follow-ups and answers to the objections we expect, because a dental practice and a law firm don’t worry about the same things.
You approve every sequence before it goes live, and any change after launch goes through the same approval. What happens if you already have messaging that works is in the FAQ on who writes the messaging.
Does it mention our company by name?
Yes, the emails name your company: they are about you, your service and your area, sent on your behalf. What we don’t use is your company domain: the emails go out from separate sending domains and inboxes that we set up and warm before launch, so your primary domain and your client communication stay untouched.
What happens to the replies?
Levante Leads handles every reply. Interested replies are qualified against your written ICP and booked onto your calendar with a short brief. Objections are answered, and the patterns feed back into the messaging and into the market feedback you get from us. The details are on the reply handling and meeting booking page.
